We stopped by to try Binghamton’s famous Spiedie, and it was absolutely worth the visit. The food was outstanding, and the portions were very generous. We ordered the 6-inch Traditional Chicken Spiedie, the Traditional Pork Spiedie, and the Special Caprese. The Caprese was especially delicious—the melted cheese paired perfectly with the juicy, flavorful chicken, making every bite rich and satisfying. The generous portions and excellent flavors really impressed us. If you’re visiting Binghamton, this is definitely a place you should try!

We stopped here for takeout lunch while traveling and it did not disappoint! I had the Greek Speidies and my husband had the traditional. Both were excellent and tasted like the speidies of my childhood in upstate NY. I hope we get the chance to go there again. I recommend it highly, you will love it too! No pictures, we were too busy eating!

Being from Philly with our cheesesteaks, I’m always interested in a regional sandwich. So when I hear Binghamton had such a sandwich, I went to The Spiedie & Rib Pit to give it a try. I got the 6” traditional pork Spiedie sandwich with a side Brussel sprouts. The chunks of meat on the sandwich were generous and the roll was very soft and chewy which was great. They were also very generous with the Brussel sprouts and the glaze made them above average. The restaurant itself is very clean and modern. The wait staff were very helpful. For as busy as they were, I waited no more than 5 minutes for my food to arrive at my table. There’s plenty of parking in there parking lot and in the adjoining strip mall.

It’s alright. All the ingredients are fresh but it’s very insanely greasy. Nice staff and clean establishment. Good value for price paid. Update 2 hours after eating: eat here if u want to 💩 and feel horrendously bloated

We stopped by Spiedie & Rib Pit while traveling through the area and had a pretty good overall experience. The restaurant was busy and had a casual, no-frills atmosphere. Be prepared to get a little messy—the spiedie sandwich is essentially marinated meat wrapped in pita bread, and it can be difficult to eat without making a bit of a mess. That said, the flavor was very good, and I can see why it’s a regional favorite. I ordered the rib sandwich after the employee at the counter highly recommended it, but unfortunately it was the biggest disappointment of our meal. The sandwich only had a few slices of rib meat on it, and the flavor wasn’t nearly as impressive as I expected based on the recommendation. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype. On the positive side, the kids ordered the chicken and really enjoyed it. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and seemed to be one of the stronger menu items. Portions were reasonable, and service was friendly and efficient. Overall, I’m glad we stopped and got to try a local specialty. If I return, I would skip the rib sandwich and stick with the chicken or traditional spiedie options. Worth a visit if you’re lookin
